Soul Gastrolounge is a lively, award-winning restaurant known for our tapas, sushi, and craft cocktails. Opened in 2009 and recently reopened in a larger space in North NODA at the Sugar Creek light rail station, Soul is locally owned and operated by DJ/Chef Andy Kastanas. Our menu is rooted in Andy’s Greek heritage and his love of world cuisine. Pork Belly Tacos are our love language. Music takes center stage at Soul in our dining room’s DJ booth, where Charlotte’s finest House music DJs spin nightly at 7 PM. Named #2 in Charlotte’s Best Restaurants of 2025 by Axios.

White Bean Dip (GF, V) – white Northern beans in a goat cheese blend with red onion, rosemary, and lemon juice

Country Greek Salad (V) – tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, bell peppers, Salonika peppers, barrel-aged feta, EVOO

Mushroom Salad (V) – chilled marinated cremini mushrooms with fried enokis in a lettuce bowl

Crunchy California Roll – snow crab blend, avocado, cucumber, crunchy onion, eel sauce, spicy mayo

Philly Roll (GF) – salmon, cream cheese, avocado

Crispy Cod Roll – deep-fried cod, avocado, topped with crunchy flake, spicy mayo and eel sauce

Salmonopita – smoked salmon with chevre, cream cheese, and onions, baked in phyllo with candied red onion relish

Anchovy Fries – fresh anchovies fried and served with tartar sauce

Pork Souvlaki (GF) – pork butt skewers marinated in our house-made Greek marinade

Eggplant Chips (V) – Japanese eggplant marinated in lemon juice, fried crispy and served with house-made tzatziki

Sashimi Tuna Tacos – marinated diced tuna in fried wonton tacos, marinated cucumbers, and sriracha mayo, avocado puree

Dirty South Nachos – fried chicken skin “chips” with a pimiento cheese fondue and jalapeno pickled okra

Flatbread – truffle whipped goat cheese, pistachio pesto, honey braised garlic and fresh arugula

Lemon Chicken Skewers (GF) – 3 skewers of lemon and oregano-marinated & grilled chicken
